I trust you Nana, I trust You Abba
Tonight, my granddaughter woke up ready to eat. She is 1 year old. She’s a cutey! I didn’t want her to think it was time to get up, so I carried her in the dark to get to the refrigerator to her bottle. As I was walking, I was unsure where the table was. I began thinking about how babies/children trust those who are taking care of them. She just laid in my arms, knowing her bottle was on its way. She didn’t seem at all worried that I might run into the table or fall over toys that are all over the floor in their room. (Ha!) See where I’m going with this? As darkness surrounds us, we can be 100% sure that our Father, who is the Light, sees the obstacles that could make us fall. He will carry us through this life. We need to lie in His arms and trust, trust, trust. Oh, how I desire the kind of child-like trust I see in my grandchildren! Lord Jesus, help me not to look and worry about the obstacles in my way. Help me to not dwell on the darkness that surrounds me at times. I pray for all of your children. Remind us when we so many things happening on the earth that You, You, You are in control! Thank You for the times You carried me, when I didn’t even realize I was being carried.
